As-Salamu Alaykum wrwb Everyone
The Crestmead Islamic Centre is a prestigious Islamic learning centre (Madrassa) as well as a community hub for prayers, Ramadan programs and a place for the community to be close with their Creator, situated at 12 Norah Street, Crestmead, Queensland 4132.
Currently we have 70 kids attending the Madrassa, with the aid of a loan we acquired the property in a serene environment and founded an Islamic learning centre to provide a world class Islamic education and well-equipped facilities for the students and community.
Due to the COVID pandemic and unforeseen circumstances we are now in arrears with the financial institution as well as the local council. Our Crestmead Islamic centre is in danger of being shut down and auctioned if we do not pay within 4 months. We are currently trying our best by holding fundraisers every week and surviving currently with local donations which are paying for utility bills and the upkeep of the place.
This Crestmead Islamic centre, we've founded made us realize the importance to support and educate the community especially our young youth. Most of these children are very talented and have the potential to be leaders in the ummah. Just to give you some perspective of the talent in the community, a child of 7 years old is able to recite the Holy Quran with tajweed and starts to memorise the chapters of the Holy Quran, a young 10-year-old boy is able to call the Adhan in melodious tune, indeed these are the blessings of Allah. Our wish is to ensure we can support them on their journey to becoming adults and contributing members of society and the Ummah.
Achieving all of this has been a huge task, the need to acquire a suitable environment for our children warranted us to secure a bank loan which enabled us to provide the appropriate avenue and platform for our future generation.
At first, we thought we were able to survive but now it seems there is no way out and we are struggling to maintain all expenses due to lack of funds, but the smiles on our children’s faces, performance in Islamic studies and how talented they are, we decided to give our best to keep the place running and reach out for help from the ummah to prevent the community from losing the beloved Crestmead Islamic Centre. We implore the Ummah to help us in keeping the community together and the education for our kid’s bright future by your generous donations to pay back the sum of $700,000.00 total.

I know this place very well. It is in the heart of new settlements. Lots of new developments taking place. A genuine need. Alhamdolillah at the moment there are 80 kids from 5 years old and above attend to learn Quran from Monday to Thursday 5 pm to 7 pm. Friday Jumua Salah taking place as well but small amount at the moment due to renovations. May your every dollar become sadaqatut jariah. Even as little as a dollar will go into your book of deeds in many folds by Allah subhanahu Ta’ala. With Allah subhanahu Ta’ala anything is possible. InshaAllah one day this place by the will of Allah subhanahu Ta’ala will be paid and hope your name is also recorded in this great course. This could be your last Opportunity to come. Who knows we will be alive tomorrow or not. May be this donation will remove any difficulty you or your family may be facing. But with this course of our children learning to read Quran with Allah subhanahu Ta’ala you will never go wrong. Please donate according to your ability. Shayk Noor and the centre volunteers have done an amazing job in developing the centre over the last few years. InshaAllah with the help of the Greater Muslim network I pray that this fund-raising will be successful and also going forward the centre becomes a core part of the South East QLD Islamic community.
