Creatabilities TheraFree Program

This page is dedicated to funding therapy sessions for kids with special needs whose families are struggling financially. Some of the funds raised will also be used to finance advocacy programs to raise awareness related to the occupational therapy profession as well as conditions that prompt the need for seeking OT and other rehab services, especially in the pediatric population.

Creatabilities Therapy Center is a small pediatric occupational therapy center that was started February 2019 in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. It is the first and only center that offers occupational therapy services in the province.

As of the moment, we are currently catering to about 15 kids with special needs. Seeking therapy services can be costly, as it may last for up to a few years (depending on the child's needs). Despite that, it is necessary to help these children reach their maximum potential.

While most of the kids that go to Creatabilities are able to comply with the frequency of therapy sessions suggested by their developmental pediatricians and pay for their fees, we also have some who belong to families who are struggling to make ends meet (and even more so to raise money to pay for therapy).

In an attempt to help those who are financially struggling, we have already employed a pro bono program by providing 1 free session after every 10 sessions with our kids. However, for some, that still isn't enough to sustain their need for therapy services.
