The Cook That Could

Badlishah is a diabetic sufferer who has a talent for Cooking. He cooks from the heart with recipes handed-down from his mother, cooking traditional Malaysian sauces for all walks of life. His life took an unfortunate turn when he lost his job in the late 2000's and has struggled ever since. Jumping from one odd-job to another, he finally become victim to diabetes (he goes for dialysis 2 times a week) and decided to operate a small kitchen from his mother's house (Heaven in a Cube) selling packed sauces.

But an unfortunate thing happened as he met an accident while buying raw materials for his kitchen. In a motor accident, he broke his leg (in unimaginable damage) and is now limited in movement. Unable to cook, what little income he earns now is a distant memory.

Friends are helping out where possible, but to keep up with his medical bills, we seek kind hearted souls who can aid us to bring back a sense of purpose to his downtrodden life. When it rains, it pours for him. Help us turn the tide to fund his monthly medical bills and get back his small "Kitchen in the Cube" when he fully recovers.

He misses his children dearly and hopes to be reunited one day.
