I'm Lamis Mady a 13 years old Palestinian girl who was born and raised in Gaza. Since the beginning of the war our life turned upside down my family's house turn to a pile of rubble. Honestly, I have never asked for assistance from others, since we had a great standard of living before the war. But now, it is a matter of life or death and life is precious.

No words can describe how dreadful the situation in Gaza. We have been struggling to find shelter and food spending several nights in the rain, cold and mud. My poor sister Lian (4.5 years old) was badly injured during an isaeli airstrike in October 2023 and I really don't want this to happen again to my family.

Dead bodies line the streets, no medicine, no food, no water, no electricity, there is nothing left to make the people want to live anymore. Please help me to save my family, getting out of this catastrophic situation.

It's only a matter of time before they get seriously injured or worse!!!

Our last hope to save our lives and escape war is to reach the Rafah crossing at the Egyptian border. However, we can’t afford the cost since we lost all of our belongings and there is nothing left to us but our hope of your support!!

The funds you may contribute will cover the following:

Covering the costly expenses for safe passage into Egypt, totaling $20,000 ($5,000 per adult person and $2500 per child). My family consists of six persons including me; my dad (Essam), my mom (Naheel), My sister (Lian) and my brothers (Mohamed and Atta).

I appreciate your time and consideration in offering the opportunity to talk about my misery. As my biggest dream now is to find a safe place for us, and to start healing from the traumatic wounds of war that we have faced for FIVE months.
