- Bethsaida Girls Secondary School is an orphanage school of excellence for the provision of an all round high quality education to the Tanzanian orphans and vulnerable girls located at Mpiji Magoe Street in the city of Dar es Salaam. Fully concerned with the plight and emancipation of the orphan girl children. The school shall continue to compliment government efforts by building Advanced Level Education Facilities (classrooms, dormitories and a laboratory) for:
- Increasing access to higher education with respect to orphan/ disadvantaged girls
- Promoting further transformational development to the orphan girl child
- Providing quality marketable education in order to enhance youth participation in socio-economic decision making processes for tangible results.
- This construction project is estimated to cost TZS.285,319,85 (US $ 125,691.56) and will definitely require and involve the provision of physical infrastructure and instructional materials. However, Bethsaida Girls Secondary School is a non-profit making philanthropic organization with a very small financial base provided by its members and a few well wishing individuals and institutions. Likewise, the school is not an income generating entity as pupils do not pay any fees. It is because of this reason that a project document has been prepared to unveil its characteristics, justification and viability in order to solicit both internal and external financial support.
