Urgent help concrete quartz dust destroyed our´family nest

Want to share our story because don't know where else can go, have never done it before.

I'm, father of 2 small daughters 1 and 3 years old, and have a wife. We live in Sweden. Maybe this story is crazy, no - its crazy for sure. Our family life was beautiful untill summer, then a company did facade renovation. Then began big nightmare. They sanded facade with a machine without protecting windows and microscopic concrete and cement dust came into our appartment. The dust has quartz and its like a small pieces of glas reflecting on the sun, itching, biting your nose when breathing. Dust penetrated into everything like furniture, walls, causing caughing, maiking your hands small scratches when washing floor, and generally irritating skin, and the worst - coming to your lungs when breathing in. Its like one and a half month has gone and still cant get rid of it.

Its like a nightmare, thinking all days how to get rid of it, thinking how much harm can it bring for health, and the most painful is to see how children react. Now, everything is changed, trying not to let them jumping on the bed or not to drop some clothes, to avoid getting the invisible dust in the air...

When this dust is cleaned ir coming in the air it literally burns your eyes, it's needed enormous work to remove, if its possible at all. Yes, we have cleaned everything what you can, but still feeling the presence.

My wife started to get nervous and frustrated children becoming nervous too, me on the depression edge. We are not poor and saved already about 30 000 dollars. We rent this appartment at the moment.

I offered to move to an other appartment to rent elsewhere. But family doen't want to move, without knowing how dangerous can be invisible microscopic quartz or silica dust that if in small particles wont leave your lungs. And the more we inhaling everyday, more of it accumulates.

My wife is saying that if we move its gonna be a house, not an appartment. Maybe this story is going to look for someone as not a big deal, for others its can be scary, for others is gonna be stupid.. But for us its a nightmare, with everydays cleaning, arguing about leaving the appartment, and my lovely family is on the divorce edge,thinking how much it has changed in just one in a half month... .

Especially when all relatives are in the other country and its difficult to move or find appartment in our small town. Time spend in the appartment ticking against our health.

Have we complained ? Yes, a lot. We have tried all services and environment companies to fix this issue, but its all burocratic and most of them dont see the problem, when I asked them to spend the time at our house a little longer to see how it feels, the answer was just - we dont have time. Sure I can sue the company, but the process can go for years, trying to proove the danger, specially when all visible dust is already cleaned.

Although we cleaned everything out we clean it still remains in ventilation system, also in the smallest spaces between furniture parts, inside walls, even inside electronics. Such small particles, its crazy, probably builders and other people, related to building occupations are going to understand me. You cant compare it to a usual street dust. Invisible in the air it starts to irritate your nose when coming into a room. The one option is just to throw out all furniture and textiles with clothes, some we have already done.

So now its everyday cleaning cleaning cleaning, and tired of thinking about dust dust dust...

The dream has always been to move to a house to give our kids some nice future hopefully the health is still not too much changed, but the time is against us.

I woudn't wish such situation to anyone reading this story.

I don't like to ask people for help, I'd rather give, than ask, but at the moment its depressive seeing childrens reactions, its crazy when sleeping in the night they sometimes caugh or sneeze or wake up so I lost sleep, waking often in the night scaried, hearing how they sometimes sneeze or cough.

I hope to earn for our dream house in the nearest several years. As mentioned, we are not so poor and already deposited about 30 000 us dollars to a for a house so its already 10 %.

The average house in our location costs equvalently in dollars about 300 thousants dollars. Its enough 200 thousands or even 150 thousands would be enough.

Maybe so little for you but soo big for us, even in Sweden. Now even cant wait some years to earn the rest, and dont know how to convince my family to move, the only option is to get funds now when we hopefully are still healthy. This is crazy and maybe many wont understand me but hopefully there are some who can. I know others have bigger problems but I decided any way to write and share my story. Its better to ask for help now before its too late.

Now Im calm and glad that at least tried to share this story with you. If you can answer I give more info gladly, or even invite you, but its probably some magic should happen to get your attention, but still the biggest and strongest word is HOPE.

YES IM NOT ASKING YOU JUST TO GIVE BUT AT LEAST TO BORROW FOR OUR DREAM AND I AM GOING TO RETURN BACK, MAYBE NOT AS FAST BUT YES, RETURN.

Also my older daughter like to draw or paint some pictures, so we can gladly send it as a present for kind people.

P.S. I just dont know where else to go, and just not believeing myself that I just wrote here, never done it before, but hope is hope. Children also believe in magic and Santa Claus, maybe there is some magic, for my children, starting believe myself. Many people say this dust not dangerous, but the most are not realizing situation that exposing over long time can be harmful. I just believe that there are people who are helpful and kind and believing how it feels, can also feel and understand my situation !
