Christmas is a season of love and giving. Not everyone celebrates a bright and happy Christmas and when we say giving, it is not only limited to our family and relatives but also to our neighbors. Receiving gifts can give us that happiness when we open it but, there’s a feeling of self-gratitude when you are the one who is doing the giving. And so our Events Class have come up to an idea of a Fundraising Event charity to help the communities in Rizal to enjoy this upcoming Christmas season. A charity event or campaign whose purpose is to raise a money for a cause. Through a series of caroling competition from our beloved student government of the different colleges and a performances from different local bands, we aim to lighten up their home this Christmas and to put up a smile on their faces. Aside from the Caroling Competition we also plan to make the event the official opening of the Christmas Season in our University. Those who will help would benefit by sharing their love to the communities of Antipolo, Rizal since they will be given a chance to write their message on a blank tarpaulin hang it in which it will be delivered to the Communities of Rizal for them to read it. In order to gain more funds, we have come up with a People’s choice award which will be given to the performers who garnered the highest amount of money through our ballot box. We will be putting this up on our booth and will be distributed during our room to room promotion and the proceeds that we will be gaining through the ballot box will be also part of the fund raising. Together with the Christmas Messages and donations, all of the profit from our event will go directly to our beneficiaries. Let’s celebrate the Christmas with a complacent feeling of helping others through this Charity Event. We believe that, making someone feel special is more than enough reason to give you more, it tells the receiver that you were thinking about them.
