Communities affected by mercury exposure from artisanal mining activities

Thousands of people including kids and breast feeding mothers and babies are displaced by the war-ton Eastern DR Congo and there lives is under another big life threatening slow killer chemical mercury component used by the artisanal miners in their everyday activities. From a contaminated environment to the drinking water the chemical is being misused and since there has been lack of information and sensitization, this cause is about building standard health facilities with a proper medical supply, treatments, sensitization, professional doctors and better standard community pit latrines.
