Campaign Story
My name is Qirrat Ahmad. I am a Pakistani currently attending an American high school in South Korea. It has always been my dream to go to an American university. I am in twelveth grade and a straight 'A' student. I have an unweighted GPA of 4.2 and a weighted GPA of 4.49. I was the Student Council treasurer in ninth grade. I was the vice president in tenth grade. Afterward, I was the president in eleventh grade and will continue to be the president in twelveth grade. I will also be the Chair of the Model United Nations(MUN). I won bronze in the junior category in the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition in 2015. I am also an active writer for Amazing Kids, a magazine. I will also be conducting an interview with Marc Bekoff, an animal activist and a professor, with Earth Island Journal in the next few months. I also have close to 40 hours of community service. In addition to this, I will be taking various AP classes in order to improve my transcript and GPA. It is my dream to attend Ohio Wesleyan University and major in neuroscience. I have full confidence that I will be admitted, but I need a total of 270,000 USD in order to fund the tuition, living expenses, misc fees, and an airplane ticket. Please help me fund my education. I will be forever grateful.
