Code Africa – 6 months in Africa teaching children how to code!

Technology is the future but many children do not have the opportunity to benefit from the advancements in this field due to lack of exposure or infrastructure to facilitate this type of learning.

As a tech nerd, I want to use the knowledge I have been privileged to get and share this with those in less developed areas. Technology is a growing industry in the undeveloped world with an infinite number of opportunities which could help children caught in the cycle find their way to a more comfortable life with no poverty.

Timeline:

2022 - Idea initiated.

2023 - Preparing curriculum, gathering funds and recruiting volunteers.

2024 - Put plan into action.

The money donated, along with with our own personal savings will go towards:

1. Vaccinations and Malaria tablets for 4 volunteers.

2. Equipment - we will get laptops and solar panel chargers for the children to use.
