Clinica Pavones

OBJECTIVES
A Town called Pavones located in the south of Costa Rica, is in need of a health care institution. The nearest hospital locals and tourists can go to is a 1.5 hour drive away by car, with public transport you can almost double your traveling time to get there. Furthermore, you have to add the waiting time in the hospital. We will be providing general medical consultations and attend emergencies.

SOLUTIONS
The government does not see the need of providing a public institution here, so our only option is to start a private clinic. The company we created consists of a Costa Rican Doctor, a German doctor and a Belgian nurse. Together we are starting up this company to contribute to the health care needs of the town. We are looking for sponsors to help us fund the existence of the clinic and/or sponsors to purchase medical equipment and supplies.

BENEFITS
The benefits of the sponsors would be recognition in the private clinic walls. The benefit for this town is the connection of another fundraising that we have set up. With this fundraising the private clinic can give 70% discount on medical consultations for local inhabitants, due to poverty we want to make healthcare accesble for everybody. Not only do we want to make it available, we want to offer it in a good quality. To reach this goal, the company needs extra funding to have decent equipment and to be able to hire competent employees.


We need funding to buy the equipment as you can see in the pictures, an ECG machine, a portable echo and patient monitoring.
