Clean Water for Timbila residents

I was born at Timbila village, Taveta Subcounty, Taitataveta County, Kenya, from a humble family of 6. i am the first born and i am 27years old.

Life has never been easy and after my secondary education my parents were unable to finance my education further. So i joined National Youth Service program initiated by government to help youth, where you undergo paramilitary training, later serve the government in various projects as a volunteer. I was posted in a government farm land as part of building the nation program where together with others did a lot of farming. Later after the program i got a chance to join one of government volunteering schools where i studied Electrical and electronics engineering.

During my nation building at the farm land i learnt a lot of farm practices and water purification processes because the area was a dry land and was put on pilot project. The neighbors around had no water and had to rely on water from the project we were doing.

I therefore want to implement the same to our village because where i come from there is scarcity of clean water because of the growing population. It always my dream to do something back to the community and water project is what i have been thinking of for a while.

In this project i will be getting water from the river, pump the water for about a kilometer where i will install tanks for purification process.

I will therefore need the following for my project:-

1. 5 Tanks of 15000ltrs

2. 3 tanks of 10000ltrs

3. 2 tanks 1000ltrs

4. water pump generator (intend to install RAM pump to cut future expenses)

5. Solar panel and battery bank

6. Solar pump water

7. 3inch 0.7km pipe

8. 1.5inch 50meters

9. Pump purifier

I intend to implement the project on piece of land i own in the area i inherited from my grand father. The land is Approximate 3acre and the project estimate to help 2000 people. I will not be changing anything from the community and i intent to do irrigation on greenhouse. Whatever i get from the green houses i will use it for maintenance of the water pump system.

I therefore look for donors to assist me in this project. They can directly donate the equipments i need or money for implementation.
