SUPPORT FOR MCC CHURCH BUILDING

It was a decade ago when the typhoon Yolandan/Haiyan brought significant changes to our area, specifically our place of worship, Matlang Church of Christ/Christian Church, situated in Matlang, Isabel Leyte, Philippines.

The typhoon caused extensive destruction to our church structure at that time, which eventually sparked the idea of constructing a new, larger, and sturdier building.

The church began with unwavering faith and proposed the concept of a Church Project Fund where individuals are encouraged to voluntarily participate. After five years, we have amassed a church fund totaling around Php 300,000 from our generous brethren. The fund was promptly utilized for the restoration of the church, focusing on the roofing, beams, and columns of the edifice.

Presently, the construction has come to a halt due to insufficient funds. There are primary matters that need to be addressed, namely the ongoing processing of an adjacent plot of land and the "Kids Ministry" values education program. These factors serve as inspiration for us to strive towards completing our building, not only to accommodate Sunday gatherings but also to host various events or activities that require the assistance of our Church and foster connections within the community. We have come up with this idea and are sharing our vision with you in the hopes of making it a reality.
