Greetings everyone!

Back in 2009 we started a family project, something that we would do every year during the Christmas and holiday season to give a little love and show that people still care for the less fortunate. We wanted to be there on the streets before it was time for what we call the "Noche Buena" a meal shared by the family on Christmas Eve. We shared packed food to the folks we see on the streets, those who have nothing to even eat on the special occasion.

Though we don't really have much, it was also a form of Thanksgiving for another year that we survived. We did this for a couple of years, but failed in 2011 when my mother passed before Christmas, so I couldn't bring myself to plan and execute the project for that year. We continued 2014, but then after my father started getting sick, we had hospital bills and medicines to pay for and budget became tight and I couldn't afford to continue, eventually my father also passed last year.

Now, I would like to continue this tradition that I started with my parents and my own family. I want to do it every year. Hopefully, with your help we can start again this Christmas season. We would like to share food, slippers (as a lot of children are barefoot on the streets), if we can afford it, some clothes and blankets for those sleeping on the sidewalks.

I appeal to your generosity, if you would like to help this simple/silent campaign to show that people still care.

Thank you very much in advance. GOD bless us all.
