Christmas Outreach: Cause for Paws

As we have all been trying to pick ourselves up as we ease off from the pandemic and the recent typhoons, admittedly there had been some causes we have put aside. Many of us dismissed that we were not the only ones who faced hardships and losses during these times. In the Philippines, as mentioned by Mariana Burgos in August 2022, organizations that care for animals, such as animal shelters and rescue groups, frequently struggle to make ends meet. They typically do not get any government funds and are dependent on contributions to provide the essential treatment for unwanted animals. (ManilaStandard)

And so as we start again to be in our festive moods this coming Christmas time, my friends and I have decided to extend our love for our fur friends at Pawssion Project Bulacan shelter. It is high time that we show our fur-phans (fur orphans) that they are worth all the care and love from their human friends as well.

The objective of this fundraiser is to buy some of the wishlist of our furry friends in the Bulacan shelter. Their wishlist includes dry cat food, vegetables, meat sawdust, cleaning equipments and dewormers for cats and dogs (see https://pawssionproject.org.ph/help-at-our-shelter..)
