Child’s friend (Empowering Girls and Boys education)

We are a group of young, dedicated graduates who identify themselves as "A Child's Friend" We run a service group called "Osiep Nyathi Community" supported by the local government in rural Kenya. Following the entrenched issue of poor sanitation among our local young girls, we were inspired to reach out and help support the girls stand out from the humiliation and embarrassment they face during their periods due to lack of sanitary towels. We have been running our community outreach program for the past two years helping girls rural Kenya especially those in public schools receive a sanitary towel. However, the population in need of the sanitary towels has increased and operating alone without external help has been a burden for our group. We would not like to see our girls miss school due to factors we can help prevent. It is for this reason that we come forth and ask for a donation to help towards increase sanitary towel use among our schoolgirls in rural Kenya.
