Deadly fire takes 80+ lives in Old Dhaka's Chawkbazar, Bangladesh
The air around the Azimpur Graveyard was particularly heavy 20th February night with wailing of people who came to bury their loved ones after they passed away in the tragic incident of Chawkbazar fire.
One of those victims was Joynal Abedin Babul, 57, who went around 10:30pm to get medicine from a pharmacy close to where the fire broke out on the fateful night, but never made it back home.
His family identified his body at Dhaka Medical College morgue almost 24 hours after they last saw him alive.
They had to recognise his body by the color of his shirt and the wrist watch he was wearing.

Many peoples of dead in the Chawkbazar area churihatta located of Old Dhaka. There have been dead 81people’s and many people’s' injured them.The nation is shocked at such a big terrible accident. An idea is to have more dead bodies accident an inside there.
After 2010 fire tragedy at nimtoli which killed approximately 124 people the chawkbazar incident has become the second worst such disaster in thehistory of Bangladesh.
As an individual, i can help few members of them but with the help of sympathey big hearted like you, i can help a large number of people in my city who are victims.
