Campaign Story
In 1957, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood before a Montgomery, Alabama audience and said:
"life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'"
This statement still rings true for me today! It is particularly important to remember that we are our brother's keeper. We do not live by or for ourselves alone... particularly when we live in a world where the disparity between those in dire need and those who have more than enough continues to grow.
It is for this reason I have found it particularly important to make giving back to the most vulnerable among us a part of my birthday celebrations each year. I truly believe that for each day I am blessed is a day to be a blessing.
