Cat Simba’s Cancer Treatment

Simba was a street cat. I found him near the road while i was driving. I rescued him and brought him home.

We started living very well together, we got used to each other very much. But after a while he started coughing. The first veterinarian told us he had a cold and gave him antibiotics and sent us back home. But Simba got worse after 4-5 days. We went to another vet, did a lot of tests and said it was blood parasitic anemia. There were 9 injections in the morning and evening for 7 days.

But after the treatment his condition did not improve. On the contrary it deteriorated. This time Simba needed a blood transfusion. As a result of my long research, as a last resort, I went to a vet who had good comments on the internet and had done a blood transfusion many times. Initially, a blood transfusion was required immediately. I took two of the youngest and most alive cats I had in my house (I have 25 cats) to the vet in the hope. My fat cat's blood didn't match. But my one eyed cat’s blood matched! Immediate tests were performed and 60 cc blood was taken from my blind cat.

Simba was immediately transfused and vet gave all of the blood in about 3 hours.

The next day Simba was given a hemogram and lots of tests. Blood count results increased from 8.6 to 10.8 this was very good news. Simba was a little run-down, but he was eating.

The next 3 days continued this way, he started to play with me. And he started purring. But our veterinarian still hadn't found the source of the anemia. all tests were good. The blood test showed that Simba's blood value dropped to 9.3, after 4 days of blood transfusion.

And Sadly after couple tests Bone Marrow Cancer Diagnosed. Now Simba need second blood transfusions. He is doing well and i hope he will win!

Simba's daily treatment fee, all the tests and the chemotherapy drugs are really, really expensive. I spend in total, and the cost of treatment analysis and testing per day is so high that I can't pay for it alone.
