For funding the legal battle for justice for the CAT candidates affected by the discrepancies in the evaluation and normalization methodology of the Common Admission Test.
The final admissions to all 13 Indian Institute of Management will be “subject to the outcome of the writ petition” filed in Madhya Pradesh High Court by aggrieved CAT 2013 takes who alleged that normalization process adopted by IIMs’ was non-transparent and sought raw CAT scores from IIMs’.

A deserving candidate missing out on an admission due to a drawback or slip-up in the back-end process of the CAT scores is undesirable and highly disconcerting. Every such case warrants a thorough examination by the CAT administration. Similarly, the possibility of any candidate getting a higher percentile than what his actual performance merits is also equally undesirable since it effectively reduces the chances of IIM-admission(s) of another, more deserving candidate.

It is not only the students who are questioning the CAT scores but also the experts who impart coaching for the premier admission examination by raising doubts over this year’s valuation and scores.

This effort for bringing in transparency to an exam conducted in a clandestine manner is not just for the disgruntled candidates. This is not just an attempt to seek justice but is also aimed at making the organisers & institutions accountable to the common public. The IIMs eventhough autonomous are public entities run by the taxpayers money and have obligation to every Indian. Therefore the admission process should not be shrouded in mystery and should be devoid of inexplicable testing practices.

This is an effort to to legally bring about the clarity in the whole process thereby making it a more open & straightforward testing mechanism which will remain fair to the future generation of aspirants. If we are able to attain this goal, our efforts would go down in history as a significant turning point in Indian education system.

This struggle in the courts require considerable expenditure for the legal aid services. Quite a few volunteers are sacrificing their time & money for the whole process. They have selflessly taken upon themselves the quite strenuous task of leading the battle. Any contribution for funding the same would go a long way in supporting their efforts and reaching our goal.

Kindly donate & support the cause. All your contributions are thankfully acknowledged and greatly aprreciated.

Thank You
