In three weeks today the Blue Cross starts - an endurance event from the lowest to the highest points in Zimbabwe -, and I'm participating for the second time as one of the cyclists. This event is massive - in beauty, in effort, in landscape and in its cause, which is to raise money for the SPCA in Zim.
I've been sweating it a lot in attempting to prepare - the organisers speak of 8,500 meters elevation, but adding all daily totals brings me to the daunting sum of over 10,000! Day 3, for example, is particularly forbidding.
Still, I'm doing all the training I can, but need your help for the funding! Please be generous, and do share this link with any Zim-Friends / Cyclists / Animal lovers!
