Career path guidance for (rural) school children and youth project (North Volta Region -Ghana)

SYDEG AFRICA is a non-profit youth group motivating and transforming the youth of Africa through self-discovery and personal development seminars and trainings in schools and colleges to open their eyes to their God-given potentials.

Our research among students and pupils over the last nine years has fully confirmed that huge numbers of young people do not really have any idea about what their potentials are and what career they could pursue for a bright future. We therefore took it upon ourselves to visit basic and secondary schools in Accra and some rural schools to educate them on their personalities, suitable courses in line with their abilities, possible courses and the right educational institutions available for such.

This, we have done using our own resources over the years while still students in the university. In order to expand our impact base we wish to seek financial support to visit schools in Volta North quite far away from Accra on the 5th of November, 2017. This would help us to reach out to many other children and youth for a brighter future.
