Cardio Angioplasty

This is my husband Paulo Veracruz, 37 years old, we have 5 children, he was diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease, the narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries, usually caused by atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis sometimes called "hardening" or "clogging" of the arteriesis the buildup of cholesterol and fatty deposits on the inner walls of the arteries.

Last April 29, 2019, 12:00pm while taking a bath, he suddenly experience severe chest pain, associated with difficulty of breathing and diaphoresis, we rushed him to the nearest hospital Perpetual Medical Center Binan where he was advised to undergo Coronary Angiogram, a procedure that uses a special dye (contrast material) and x-rays to see how blood flows through the arteries in your heart which costs Php52,000.

On April 30, 2019 He was transfered to Perpetual Medical Center in Las Pinas for further management and evaluation.

He underwent Coronary Angiogram and was advised by his Interventional Cardiologist to undergo Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI, formerly known as angioplasty with stent) which will cost him nearly Php1,000,000. It is a non-surgical procedure that uses a catheter (a thin flexible tube) to place a small structure called a stent to open up blood vessels in the heart that have been narrowed by plaque buildup, a condition known as atherosclerosis. Since they've found out that he had 7 blocked arteries that needs to be removed immediately to prevent next episode of heart attack and worst cardiac arrest.

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (Angioplasty) was done to open up 4 blood vessels in his heart, and it went successful. after 4 days, he was scheduled for another Angioplasty to open up the remaining 3 blood vessels in his heart. And by God's grace it also went successfully.

We are here to ask that you may be able to provide with what you can to support his medical expenses especially his increasing hospital bills and the cost of stent that they used during Angioplasty procedure.

As of now, his hospital bill along with cost of stent had increased to Php 800,000, and any amount we could raise would be a big help to us.
