With more than 20 years of experience in the print media industry, we have long since realized, almost all the publications in India are run very unprofessionally with huge leaks in finances and these accrued costs are carried on to the reader.
As of a decade, the industry has lost touch with what the reader wants from a publication in the digital age. The right avenues to raise capital and visibility through sales and marketing are rarely used. These are but a few of the reasons.

As an eco-friendly, socially responsible company we have worked on a strategy to give the best quality product giving the most revenues, with minimal investment and least possible expenditure. A major amount of the income will be kept apart for the empowerment of the impoverished.
We will be using only wood-free paper and soy ink to print to ensure our commitment to the environment. We will also be collecting the magazines from the readers after 3 months and recycle the paper.
Our Keys To Success
Our product (a city-based infotainment monthly magazine) has been incorporated after 3 years of extensive research and planning. The market segment is niche (3500 of the highest income tax payers of the city) and the product is tailor-made for them.
The advertisers are assured of their reach because the magazine is delivered free to the readers. The content providers are the movers and the shakers of the city.
What We Need
The total funding needed is $ 20,000 for two months of running cost for the magazine (The detailed breakdown of the costs are at the bottom. Please refer).
The advertisement income will come in only 45 days from the date of the publishing of the magazine. This is the usual credit period of the industry here. Your money will help in the running costs of the magazine for the initial 2 months by which time we will be in the self-financing circle.
The total monthly expense is $ 12, 209. The income is $ 15000 (30 full page advertisements @ $ 500/page).
The income will be increased by expanding to other cities. The current plan is to start a new issue in a new city every 6 months.
