Campaign Story
My wife, Joyce, was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in late 2022. Although her condition seemed bleak, we didn't give up hope. With a good income at that time, we decided to fight her cancer. Her oncologist put her on chemotherapy from December 2022 to April 2023. The chemotherapy not only helped shrink her tumor from 7cm to 2cm but also helped her fight off cancer that had spread to other parts of her body.
Unfortunately, when it came time for her mastectomy to remove the tumor, I lost my job, and things quickly went south. We are thankful that despite meager resources stemming from unemployment and continuing medical expenses, kind relatives and friends pitched in to ensure the mastectomy pushed through.
Now that the mastectomy is done and Joyce is on her way to recovery, her oncologist is recommending radiation treatment to rid her body of all remaining cancer cells. With no luck finding work as of yet and no one left to turn to, I humbly ask for donations to help us defray the cost of the upcoming radiation treatment that will start this August 2023.
We thank you in advance for any assistance you can extend to us. Your donation, no matter what amount, will go a long way to help keep the light of our household burning bright. We are glad to answer any questions regarding our situation and treatment.
Sincerely,
Joel

With new funds we've received amounting to about $270, we'll purchase more of the medicines Joyce needs for pre-radiotherapy and set aside part of the amount for the trip and stay in Cebu for the radiotherapy sessions,
Thank you to our offline donors
Update posted by Joel Tan at 06:31 pmI'd like to drop an update to thank those who have donated offline, through bank transfer or Gcash. With the new donations of about USD 80, we were able to purchase other medication for cancer, liver damage, and hyperglycemia that we would have had to stop if not for the
