“Education is the passport to the future…” Malcolm X
Lebanese political situation and the Covid impact make school & orphanage struggle
Cadmous College is based in Tyr, Lebanon. It is a well structured education centre that was founded in 1966, and is headed by Christian Maronite Missionaries, today by longtime friend Father Jean Younès. They offer education both to local children and to orphans.
With the litteral explosion of Lebanon with the bombings and the added pressure that Covid is adding, their functioning costs can barely be covered. They appeal for help to be able to heat the school, feed the children.
