Building Phaedra\'s Future

Dear friends and fellow human beings,
for those who may not know me, I am the father and ally of my daughter Phaedra and my wife Malindretou Antonia is always by my side and we welcome you to the world of Phaedra, a courageous spirit who faces a chronic illness with admirable courage. Our little hero, despite the challenges she faces every day, has the power to give smiles and inspire many people with her will to live.

Our purpose is to support Phaedra in her fight. To achieve this, we are launching a funding campaign aimed at providing the necessary financial means for the treatment, care, and support that our Phaedra needs.

Phaedra was diagnosed with a posterior fossa tumor anaplastic ependymoma... Ever since the age of 3 she had 3 major surgeries for the tumor and at about 9 for a cerebrospinal fluid drainage valve...this way she managed to get the tumor cleared and to stand up (struggling of course) which is quite difficult but not unlikely, especially with assistance....at the moment, having a very high degree of scoliosis as well as a problem with her feet, she needs back surgery from the beginning to be able to get her body in a straight profile and to correct the disorder and after the operation on the soles is done in the second year (about 1 year) the hospital that specializes in this operation is in France (Necker Pediatric University Hospital in France and specifically in Paris). The travel and living expenses for approximately 120 to 140 days during which she will be hospitalized and will follow a program of physical therapy etc. amount to approximately 25,000 euros....in terms of coverage there is the possibility of a partial contribution from the insurance company without yet knowing the exact amount. ...Nevertheless, we must be ready to start this fight with her as well ...The operation and the stay make it so much that we cannot afford it.....(€120,000 -€160,0000 WITHOUT full coverage with turnout)
