UPDATE: MAY 29, 2018 - We are pleased to announce the completion of Company Registration for Building Bridges Building People PTE LTD Singapore. We are now moving forward with our first Social Enterprise Project and will have a new crowdfunding donation page on Go Get Funding coming in early June - hope to see you there. UPDATE: May 11, 2018 - we have raised just over $800 and have incorporated Building Bridges Building People Pte Ltd in Singapore. Next step is Social Enterprise registration! Please read on for more details......

At Building Bridges-Building People Social Enterprise Start-Up Asia our mission is to establish a registered Pte Ltd Company & Social Enterprise for Profit in Singapore.

From the Social Enterprise base we'll provide training and benevolent outreach in the following areas:

- Assist other Social Enterprises to establish self-sustainable vehicles for income and vocational training

- Art activity workshops for underprivileged youth and the elderly

- Soft-Skill and Management Training for the unemployed and retiring domestic workers

Our Business Scope under the Pte Ltd registered company will encompass two areas, Online Sales and Soft-Skill Training. As part of our registered Pte Ltd & Social Enterprise for Profit operations the goal is to:

- Donate back 25% of billable training hours to those in need which cannot otherwise afford the training, ie: for each four hours of invoiced training we'll give one hour back to the local community free of charge.

- Facilitate online art auctions and exhibitions with donated art works to benefit young artisans and raise support for impoverished families in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

With concise goals in place, a 30-year background (12 years in Asia) in training management and charity support operations and the commitment of ten accomplished artists from London, China and Singapore, we are confident in both the potential for success and the ability to make beneficial contributions to the local community.

To cover the Company Registration, Social Enterprise & Worker Registration, Office Registration and Admin Expenses we need to raise S$1,800

For all of our supporters we'll send you a Letter of Thanks and a Celebration Coffee Table Book along with a range of gifts, art prints and/or gift vouchers depending on the level on donation. You'll also be kept up-to-date over the next year with photos and stories of our various outreach projects.

Our Support Partner and Online Art Gallery - East West Artisans will honor the gift vouchers for any purchase on the site valid for 6 months, June 15, 2018 to December 15, 2018

We welcome all our supporters, both financial and emotional supporters, to share this new adventure with us.

In the event we raise more than the S$1800 needed, the additional funds will be used to purchase art activity equipment and training materials/equipment for students with special needs and the elderly in Singapore and Southeast Asia. How those funds are specifically used will be shared on our new website, here in the fundraiser and with our supporters and social media friends.

Plan B: If in the case the registration of the company and social enterprise is unsuccessful for any reason, all donations will be split evenly between three charities in Singapore with Institute of Public Character Status. Those include Beyond Social Services (support to impoverished families), Red Pencil (art therapy programs) and Riding for Disabled (equine therapy). To further ensure donation management, donation rewards, gifts and/or vouchers will not be produced until full registration of the company has been accomplished.

As we progress along the way, we'll keep all our supporters updated weekly via email and campaign shout-outs so you can share the adventure with us.
