Happy New Year 2021 and thanks to everyone who have taken this Build A Home For Amos campaign to their hearts and generously supported us from breaking the ground to the roofing where we are now. I am so grateful for the far this project has come and yes, I am here again, kindly requesting you for your continued support towards the windows and doors purchase and installation, plumbing works, plastering as well as painting. A phase that's likely to cost us over $5000 USD more until we can move into this home. Every little bit counts and through prayer, love gifts, sharing this campaign and more, we can achieve this before March and Amos and two other homeless children (Stella and Gorette) will have a place to call home at Kitonzi Village. Thanks so much and can't wait to see what God will do these 2021 early months. Kindly share.
The one who started this good work in us is more than able to accomplish it.
Out of the 100 ironsheets needed for the roofing of The Village Home (A Home of Restoration and Rest), God has provided 14 so far!
It’s amazing to see how God continues to bless us in the midst of the storm and we can’t help but praise His name.
Special thanks to everyone who is stepping in to fuel a lifetime dream come to reality.
With 86 more ironsheets to go, I would like to let you know that, for only $13 for each ironsheet (metal sheet), you can be part of this #RoofThatHome campaign by sending it through our giving page ( www.shareloveafrica.com/give ) or by inboxing me or Karen Bode for more details.
Kindly write #RoofThatHome in the comment box to help us allocate your love gift to this incredible work going on!
My birthday is loading... and I am so excited to see the progress happening on the home construction!
Last year, June 13th, we were able to bless 213 children in Kitonzi Village with 213 pairs of closed shoes with the partnership of family and friends all over the globe and this year, God laid it on my heart to shift and start living at the children’s village and that’s why I am focusing on building this home and getting it completed as soon as possible to enable me serve as much as I can and get engaged in different projects like farming, technical skills training, gospel spreading and many more!
As you all know, I couldn’t have done this, if it was not for the generosity of brothers and sisters who have selflessly contributed (and are still contributing) all they can to see this an accomplishment!
We are starting on the walls on Monday and we still need more bricks (7000) at $40 per 1000 bricks and over 20 trucks of sand at $15 each for now. Thank God we have all the cement we need for the walls! I believe that the God who started this is more than able to finish it and that’s the power of walking by faith with action and not by sight.
If you feel blessed to be a blessing to me particularly on this year’s birthday, kindly donate here as the Lord leads! Every little bit counts!
I am forever humbled and grateful to have a family of friends like you and having a place to call home this year!
Together we can do this despite the ongoing epidemic and chaos world over!
It is three days since I started the call for prayer to build a home at our children’s village and with great joy today, I received these photos from the village of the materials that have been purchased today to start off the work!
7,000 bricks, 5 trucks of sand and the action continues....!
What a God we serve! What a joy in my heart and at the hearts of the children I am about to be living with in this home! What an ease of work at the village!
It’s just the beginning and I am so grateful to God and the generous family I have.
It takes $4 to buy 100 bricks, $8 for 200 bricks, $20 for 500 bricks, $40 for 1000 bricks, $15 for a truck of sand and $10 for a bag of cement where every little bit counts.
Reminder: I will be celebrating my 25th birthday on June 13 and I am believing God and praying for a might move for this home to be my birthday gift to the 2 homeless children on my heart that will occupy this home with me at the village.
I can understand that we are in trying moments but Our God still sits on the throne!
Kindly continue to pray with me, share with your family and friends and do not hesitate to inbox me for any inquiries.
Can’t express my feelings but it’s beyond comprehension. Praying for you all.
