Am pursuing to have a BSF (Black soldier fly) production unit that will be integrated with an Aquaponics farming structure. The BSF larvae will provide feeds for the fishes and manure for plants, which will be mostly vegetables.

BSF production will use household waste as well as local institution waste to grow larvae. The larvae will be used to make feeds for fishes and the sludge from the BSF larvae production is used as manure for the vegetables.

This setup is geared to proving sustainable greens to the surrounding community. The produce will be market to the local groceries and give the community a healthy eco-friendly produced veggies. This will ensure the veggies are sustainably cultivated. No chemical fertilisers will be used in the project. Excess larvae shall be dried up and sold as animal feeds. It’s good for poultry, piggery as well as a proteins source to animal feeds producing companies.

The project will get employment chances to young population. Sales of the vegetables, fishes and any other products form the setup will surely go to improving the welfare of the young population.
