Rescuing of 3 dogs from war-torn South Lebanon and re-locate them to Malta.

GENERAL SITUATION: I'm trying to rescue 3 unfortunate dogs, Bruno, Tilly and Ziggy from worn-torn South Lebanon and relocate them to Malta, to give them a second chance for a fresh start there as pets in households.

The 3 dogs are at the moment in a military UN camp in South Lebanon where a group of Maltese soldiers are stationed.

Bruno is a little less than 3 years old, white male Labrador mix of equivalent size. He was brought to the camp as a puppy by Irish peacekeeping troops after he was rescued from the streets (rumors have it that his mother and litter siblings have been shot and he was the only survivor).

Tilly is about 2 year old, medium size, female brown Husky, German Shepherd, Border Collie mix. She had waked her way to the camp less than a year ago and seems to have been horribly treated previously as she was scared and full of trust issues. A few weeks after her arrival it was noticed that she was also pregnant and infact had given birth to a very cute puppy inside the camp. (Thanks to kind Irish, Maltese and Polish personnel who had done everything possible to help her)

Ziggy is a small size male. His age, background and breeds' ancestry are totally unknown, though he seems that he is still young and has some Pharaoh's Dog characteristics. He's been in the UN camp a little more than a year.

The current ongoing military conflict in the Middle East has made life for these dogs much more difficult from many logistical aspects, especially sufficient comfortable living conditions (especially considering the present harsh winter conditions) and medical care.

However getting these 3 dogs out of Lebanon and flying them to Malta is going to cost big money. And it is a race against the time, while encountering several bureaucratic obstacles which were allready difficult in peacetime, let alone now with a war going on.

• Rabies' Blood Titer Tests ($250 - $300 for each dog)
• Traveling Cages ($200 - $300 for each dog)
• Flight Tickets with Turkish Airlines ($500 - $700 for each dog)
• 3 Weeks Quarantine in Malta (average of €7 daily for each dog
