BROTHER AND SISTER, TOGETHER AGAIN

It has been 9 years since I last hugged my sister, 9 long years. We have missed very big moments in our lives; being there for our college graduations, our weddings, becoming parents, carrying each other’s newborns and so on, but most importantly being there for each other. My name is Edgar Ricardez and I have lived in Mexico, City for the last 9 years while my sister, Martha Ricardez, has carried on her life back home in Atlanta, Ga. The reason I came back to Mexico was to accomplish my dream of graduating college so that I could become the first one to do so in my family and I did it. Now, I am English teacher at a public High School which is also, something else I once dreamed of becoming. Yet, my profession only gives me enough to pay my bills, rent, and to get by with all the basic needs at home. Throughout the years, I have been trying to save enough money to return home, to Ga, to reunite with my sister and to meet, for the first time in person, my brother in-law, my two nephews and my only niece. As you can tell, it has been a little too difficult to do with all of the expenses. Which brings me here, in pursue of my next big dream, to reunite with my sister and to bring our families together for the first time ever. I dream of this experience repeatedly and every time I, can´t help the tears of joy coming out of my eyes just imagining hugging my sister once again after nine long years. I would love to see our children playing together for the first time ever and I would love to show my wife and two beautiful daughters the places where I grew up and from where I have my most cherished memories. I would highly appreciate any donation you gave me into making my dream a reality. All the money raised will be used in obtaining our visas, our round trips and most importantly having the opportunity of being with my sister one more time. I really want to spend my next birthday with my sister and her family on September 11^th, that would be the best birthday gift ever. If you have any siblings I am, positive that you know that no birthday is the same without them by your side and I could not bear another birthday without my sister by mine.
