My trials to be universal entrepreneurship pushed me towards leaving my comfort zone and trying to make a change. For many years now, I have been challenging myself to work systematically to find the root cause of a problem and address it. I have worked in pharmaceuticals, environmental health, public health, digital health and research. All these efforts were accompanied by years of hard studying of two post-grad diplomas and a master in public health, quality of healthcare reform and ehealth after my bachelor of pharmacy. I have been successful in what I do but yet have not build my own business.
The devaluation and economic situation in my country Egypt is prohibiting me from getting closer to reach my goal. I am accepted in the MIT bootcamp in Japan next month (March 23-29th, 2019), However, I am not in a financial status that allows me to pay the fees. Putting in consideration that I am working as a technical officer in a minister’s office. I have to secure in total $12,500-13,000. It is divided into tuition fee $11,000, (the first $3,000 before the 15th of February and $8,000 before the 15th of March 2019), in addition to the today cost of flight tickets ($650-1750), accommodation ($122), pocket money ($300) and the visa to Japan. My current salary is 5,000 EGP which is equal to 305.5 $ which makes it impossible for me to secure it myself. I am requesting your sponsorship in this regard. The impact of the bootcamp is proven and five of the alumni were in the Forbes under 30 list.
My personal challenge for the year is to start a Diabetes Prevention Program; my entrepreneur venture, and build my own dream. In exchange to sponsorship, I will be your advertisement material in the bootcamp which is well know globally. I would report back on what I learned, work hard, coordinate to host a bootcamp in the region, use new methodologies to help better enhance our communities, and write about my experience.
All documents upon request.
I looking forward to your reply.
