Bring Amaboh To The MIT Innovation and entrepreneurship boot camp

I am Ngu Amaboh Achu, a young graduate and professional from a small country in Africa called Cameroon. I recently got admitted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.

The MIT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is a new program from MIT for global innovators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers. Participants, including myself (hopefully), will go to Zagreb, Croatia on May 23-29, 2020 for an intense program to learn how to build innovation-driven ventures that solve global challenges in the environment, in all sectors. At this MIT Bootcamp, entrepreneurs from all over the world will come together, form teams, and be challenged with finding a scalable solution by applying new technologies and ideas to solve a problem relevant to to problems of our society.

Admission to the Bootcamp is highly selective program which has produced 800 Bootcamp graduates from more than 90 countries in since it's inception in 2014. So far, more than a hundred new ventures raising over $70 million have been launched by MIT Bootcamp graduates since then. It saw five alumni getting selected for the Forbes 30 under 30 and six eventually admitted to the MIT.

We are all stars trying to light the dark skies and make the human race shine bright, even when we're no longer of this world. The MIT Boot camp of 2020 on Innovation and Entrepreneurship ties perfectly with my raison d'etre and how I try to keep the lights on in society by helping entrepreneurs and innovators bring their ideas to live through my consultancy, and more to that I have started two tech ventures in past but have never given up on my entrepreneurial journey when this ventures didn;t succeed, for real success is a process resulting from several failures. That is why the moment I saw the Facebook ad for the program, I gave it my best shot and felt deep in my heart it was the right thig to do.

Armed with a three-year combined analytical and statical experience in management consultancy, two internships in two different banks , research experience in SME, and strong interest in sustainability particularly in the field of energy, I believe there is so much for me to learn in the MIT Bootcamp that I can translate into more concrete and relevant solutions and initiatives in those fields with an entrepreneurial mindset.

The entire program costs 6500 USD,(EXCLUDING cost of travel and accommodation) and the MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp officially begins on May 23, which costs 2000 USD.

My transportation to and from Croatia, and my accommodation for the duration of the Bootcamp proper is estimated to cost around 2000 USD, however I am raising just the tutition for the bootcamp with a funding target of 6500 USD.

I was fortunate to be able to raise 2000 USD to secure my slot by the 18 of Feb, and would need to raise the remaining funds in a month.

Unfortunately, it will be difficult for me to push through with my participation to the Bootcamp without financial support.
