Bridge for rural village in Southern Vietnam

My 28th birthday is coming up. Normally, I would already be planning big birthday bash and receiving expensive gifts from all my dear friends.

However, for this year, a lovelier way for me to celebrate is to help donate to build a more sustainable bridge in this rural village in the South of Vietnam, Mo Cay Nam - Ben Tre.
A friend of mine is the sole organizer of this project, including the town councilmen. We will need an estimate of 4,000 USD for a 24 meters long and 2 meters wide bridge.
We wish to start this project as soon as possible but we are still short in donation.
I know this is a funny way to ask for a birthday gift, since I am only an online stranger to you all, but I have promised my friend that I would do anything within my power to help her, hence this funding project.
Just a couple of bucks taken out from your daily coffee dose and you could have make some children's way to school so much easier.
