Folks, 
This year I am taking a different approach towards Movember than other participants as I am going to try and grow a beard for the month of November. I am doing this for a very good cause, Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare Team. 
''The aim of the Home Care Nursing service is to make the patient with advanced disease as comfortable as possible in their home. Home Care Nurses work with general practitioners and public health nurses to provide relief from symptoms due to either advanced disease or as a result of treatment. This specialist care, while taking care of practical issues, also incorporates dealing with the emotional needs of the patient and the family during this time. 
Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care offers a free service which is available to everyone 24/7, with a night nursing service for a limited period. The service is available through GPs who contact the home care team when the need arises. 
Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care is now 20 years old running as a VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION. Without people like you the Home Care Team would not be still in existence.
