Campaign Story
My mother is one of those unfortunate people who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer on July 2021. She is still not cancer free. Her name is Rozita.
Her life was forever changed from that point because having cancer. Its hard to quantify on what the person goes through or how they feel because each individual's cancer journey is different. Cancer itself even after significant major advances in the field of medicine is still considered all over the world as a potential death sentence so knowing you or someone close to you have it can literally be life changing.
I am fearful of losing her. The money will be used for her breast cancer treatments and for others that we could help too.
My mother's own words when she first found out about her condition:
"The odd of having cancer is very hard to quantify and it could happen to anyone at any time. When my doctor told me that the test I took confirming that I have cancer, i did not cry but in my mind I already try not to be sad because I believe that this is God prayers and he knows what is best for me now before I meet him. I keep talking to my brain to hold my tears and don’t cry.."
And another:
"Once I am alone in the car, I bursts out loudly and cried like a baby. I told GOD, if this is the best for me and if this is what you have planned for me, I am pleased with what you have set for me dear GOD. But, can you send someone to be by my side because I am all alone, single mother and if I fall so sick, who will take care of me…"
Her having a healthy mental state is also important in making sure, she copes with her still ongoing disease well.
Now this is just her story, there are plenty of others out there who are also like her and we aim to help as many as we can with this fundraiser.
Charity starts from the heart and it doesn't matter from what country you are.
Only God can repay the kindness all of you show to us and the people we are planning to help. May He bless your lives till the end of your days.
