Campaign Story
Hi I'm Jimberly Comprendio, 18 years old from the Philippines. During the time our mom was away to visit my sick grandfather, my siblings and I found my Dad unconscious on the floor. We took him to the hospital and the results in the CT scan found out that my Dad suffered a stroke (stage 3). My feet were cold that time since I didn't even managed to put any footwear and God knows how hard I cried that time when the doctor said that he will be needing life support machines. As of today, my Dad had undergone Ventriculostomy (surgery that involves creating a hole in the head to drain the blood). My father is a fighter but I know he is much worried for us and the bills rather than his situation right now. The doctor said that it would take 10-14 days in the ICU that costs around 600 - 1000 US $ (~ 30,000 - 50,000 Php) per day. We couldn't transfer our father to other hospitals because their ICU rooms and private rooms are all occupied, everything except the hallway. I was hoping someone can help us support the medical fees for my Dad. We wish for my Dad's full recovery and we are doing everything that we can. My Dad is the breadwinner of our family having a monthly income of 200 US $ as a tricycle driver. Please help my Dad for his full recovery. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very kind-hearted people! Today we are setting up for his funeral... I'm sure that if my father was still alive, he would be very very very thankful for all of you

An immediate operation is needed because there are some ventricles filled with blood and an internal bleeding was found. Another vein popped and another operation is needed to remove the blood but

Based on the result of the surgery performed last Tuesday night (Jan 8), he will be monitored in the ICU for days. He is given with a medicine. . . . .

Thank you very much kind people for all your support, prayers and donations for my father. Unfortunately, he passed away last January 20, 2019. I too wished for a miracle and still hoping this is all a dream until now but eventually, we have to accept and let him go (though I’m still not ready). We are very, very grateful to all of you.
