Campaign Story
The Botswana-Baylor Children's Clinical Center of Excellence (COE), a partnership between the Government of Botswana and the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), provides free-of-charge, state-of-the-art pediatric HIV care, treatment, and support to children throughout Botswana. Currently, the COE provides care to over 2,400 patients from Greater Gaborone and over 1,000 Batswana children at its outreach and mentor ship sites around the country.
Given the role that our center plays for many of the youth and adolescents living with HIV in Gaborone, Botswana-Baylor holds an annual Christmas Celebration for our youth- complete with a meal, entertainment and of course gifts. Most importantly, the party celebrates our patients and the strides they’ve made in their health and wellness throughout the year.
The Christmas party is totally funded through donations from people like you. If you can, please donate to this crowd funding campaign to help us make this celebration all that it can be for our youth.
