Campaign Story
My family and I asking for prayers and financial help for my husband, William Ladimo Jr.
William has end-stage renal disease or stage 5 kidney disease. His kidneys failed in 2018 and he has been on dialysis 3 times a week ever since. We need to raise P400,000 or more for immediate amputation and ongoing hospitalization. He cannot use his Philhealth, because it has a limit and can no longer be used for inpatient hospitalization after it has been used more than 45 times for dialysis.
Three weeks ago, he has been hospitalized for necrotic foot gangrene and has undergone several operation (debridement) to remove his foot's dead tissue. He is in the service ward now, so all dialysis (3 times a week), blood transfusion(with or without a donor), medicine, and even medical supplies are being paid for in cash. Everyday, we need to pay around 8 to 15 thousand in cash for all of these, in addition to the growing hospital bill.
Doctors discovered that the infection may have spread because of his green-colored urine. So he will undergo amputation after 7 days of treatment for urinary tract infection, blood transfusion and several tests. We do not know yet how long he will stay in the hospital after his amputation.
Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and generosity, and may God bless you for sharing your blessings.
