Campaign Story
Dear reader,
We need your help.
Please help us get enough funding to fight our mom's cancer. We are on a deadline.
Our mom, Sincere Evacula, has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. It all started with just a small lump on her right shoulder area last February 2019. By March 18, 2019 she was scheduled to have the lump removed but they didn't operate because by then, the mass has gotten big. The doctor ordered a biopsy of the mass. On March 23, 2019 we were given the heartbreaking result of the biopsy -- Metastatic Carcinoma.
Our world was suddenly turned upside down. We couldn't believe it. We couldn't understand. How can all this be happening when just a month ago, our Mommy Sincere was out and about, roaming the streets of Baguio and celebrating Panagbenga Festival along with some other thousands of tourists? A month ago, she endured the steps and slopes of Baguio without any trouble. A few months earlier that, she was ecstatic and proud about her laboratory results because for the first time in many years, the results were all within normal values.
Our Mommy Sincere remained active well after her retirement. She even became a health advocate and an online entrepreneur simply because she's a firecracker, and you can't make her sit still in her house for too long.
She's a great believer of wellness, and has always maintained that health is wealth that's why she's always done what her doctors advice her.
Now her doctors are telling her to fight this cancer, and she will. But we need your help. We do not have the amount of money that's needed to treat our mom. We could offer our lives and everything, but that won't do. No matter how much we wish to change places with her, take her illness away from her and give her our health, we can't. it doesn't work that way, but treatment does. Treatment works that way. Our doctor has recommended immunotherapy as a treatment plan. They say she has a fighting chance to beat this, but we better act now, and we better act fast. One session of immunotherapy is estimated to cost around P300,000. She may need around 8-10 sessions during her treatment.
We are in desperate need of your help. Spare us any amount your kind hearts can generously share. Help us get the word out to the world that we need to save our Mommy Sincere. Share our story to your friends. Share our story to strangers. Share our story to anyone who might be looking to help someone. And please save a prayer for our dear mom. Thank you.
Yours SINCEREly,
The Evacula Family

Update posted by Angela Evacula at 08:40 amDear friends and family,It has been a tough few weeks. Our mom has been in the ICU for about a week now. Her response to the immunotherapy was promising, but pneumonia struck her just a few days after. Now her second immunotherapy has to be delayed until she gets cured. . . . .

Update posted by Angela Evacula at 09:36 pmDear family and friends,Our Mommy Sincere has just undergone her first immunotherapy and already she's showing signs of positivity.
