CHEMO FUND FOR TELITZZ

Learning that a friend has cancer can be difficult news to hear. It takes time to acknowledge and cope with your own emotions about the diagnosis before you see him or her. I am now dealing with this situation... yes it sucks! but we can do something for our dear friend Telitzz.

On January 24, 2019, Estelita N. Ledesma , Telitzz as we call her, underwent breast surgery at Pines Doctors Hospital in Baguio City. Last month, she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer Stage II B, her treatment protocol includes 8 sessions of chemotherapy, Php 24,000.00 per session ; total cost amounting to Php 192,000.00. She needs to start the first session ASAP.

According to her doctors, Triple Negative Breast Cancer Stage II B can be more aggressive and difficult to treat. Also, the cancer is more likely to spread and recur. Using chemotherapy to treat triple negative breast cancer is still an effective option. In fact, triple negative breast cancer may respond even better to chemotherapy in the earlier stages than many other forms of cancer.

Telitzz is a loving wife , devoted mom and a very hardworking ESL teacher. She is about to embark on the fight of her life as she combats cancer. She and her husband are really working hard for their growing family. She is also taking care of her 80 year old mom. The chemotherapy and laboratory work ups are quite expensive and beyond their means.

Now more than ever, Telitzz NEEDS our HELP. She has a very long road ahead, but she knows that "SHE'S got this" and "WE got this"!

The funding from your contributions will go directly towards assisting Telitzz with basic living expenses, groceries, prescription costs, uninsured medical expenses, medical co-pays, and any other needs directly related to her care.
