For the Children of Isaac Model School, Hyderabad, India

Hello and thank you for taking the time to come to this page.

For the past three years, I have been collecting money from friends to help with educating students at my aunt Hephzibah's Isaac Model School in Hyderabad, India.

She started the school in 2002 because she wanted to do something good with the land her father (Isaac) left her and wanted to provide a good education to those who don't have the same access to it that she did. The classes go from kindergarten to Class 10 (Grade 10) and there are 103 students enrolled this year. Because of the area the school is in, a lot of the children are from a very low socioeconomic background and every year, there are a few whose parents cannot afford to pay their fees or buy their uniforms and books.

Aunt Hepzhibah covers their fees and buys their uniforms and books because she doesn't want them to miss out. This is where you come in. Any money you contribute will go towards covering the fees of students whose parents can't pay and buying their books and uniforms.

The average cost for a child for the school year is USD190 or INR12000 - USD110 for the fees and USD80 for their books and uniforms.

There are eleven children who need help this year. I have already collected USD1346, so another USD744 would see us cover all eleven students' expenses.

Any leftover collected money is spent on any other needs that come up for any of the school children.

I've been visiting and helping out at the school over the past ten years, and I can assure you that your money will go such a long way.

I am visiting the school next week and will give my aunt the money as well as catch up with the students.
