Retired Philippine Navy Romeo Bañares Bejer is known for being nice and kind to his family, relatives, friends, peers and neighbors. He is always ready to help without reservations and keeping to his faith that helping one another makes our world a better place. One day came, he noticed there was a swollen part just below his stomach area. Doctors examined his body only to find out it was Hernia. Since he is a retired soldier, the medication and operation process is free of charge at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Cubao, Quezon City. His Doctor orders him to undergo ECG exam just to make sure that he is okay before the hernia repair starts. His ECG resulted him to undergo Angiogram exam that cost him 45,000 pesos since it wasn't available yet from the Veterans Hospital. But his situation just got worse because of the 3 clots in his left and right veins from his heart as it can cause him a "silent heart attack" while on hernia repair. He needs to go another process just to clean those clot veins which again isn't yet available at Veterans Hospital. This process is called Angioplasty which cost 400,000 pesos. Apparently, The agony of pain he suffers from Hernia will stay as long as he waits for his Angioplasty. We, his family is tapping your kindness and compassionate hearts to help us raise the money so he could live his life much longer.
