Forest patrol of Siberia. FPS

We are a volunteer organization engaged in saving the Siberian forests. We fight with barbaric logging, extinguish fires, plant trees, patrol the forest, save the affected animals. We save the lungs of the planet (taiga forests) in the name of all mankind and all the inhabitants of the earth. As a result of the destructive activity of man, the Siberian forests were under threat. Thousands of hectares of coniferous forests were destroyed, on the verge of extinction were many species of animals, and birds.

We founded our volunteer organization in 2015. (Omsk, Western Siberia) We were tired to observe with indifference how destroying the natural resources of the earth, and we began to fight all available means to stop the destruction of the forests of Siberia. To date, many volunteers work with us. All in place, we are successfully fighting for the preservation of the taiga forests.We stop industrial deforestation, fight with fires, plant young trees, attract people for mass planting of trees.

The forest is not just a cluster of trees, but a complex ecosystem that unites plants, animals, fungi, microorganisms and influences the climate, the state of drinking water, and the purity of air.

Thanks to photosynthesis, forests give us oxygen for breathing, while absorbing carbon dioxide. Trees protect the air from toxic gases, soot and other contaminants, noise. Phytoncids, produced by the majority of coniferous plants, destroy pathogenic microorganisms. Forests are the habitats of many animals, these are the real treasures of biological diversity. They participate in creating a favorable microclimate for agricultural plants.

Despite the fact that forests are a renewable resource, the speed of their cutting is too high and not covered by the speed of reproduction. Millions of hectares of deciduous and coniferous forests are destroyed annually.

Coniferous forests of the central regions of Russia, forests in the Far East and Siberia are destroyed, and swamps appear on the site of cutting. Cut valuable pine and cedar forests.

Combustion of forests causes air pollution by carbon monoxide, it is emitted more than absorbed. Also, when forests are being reduced, the carbon that accumulates in the soil under the trees enters the air. This contributes about a fourth to the process of creating a greenhouse effect on the Earth.

Many areas left without forests as a result of cutting down or fires become desert, as the loss of trees leads to the fact that a thin fertile layer of soil is easily washed by sediments.
