My dad, JOEY, is at the hospital fighting cancer.

JOSE ALFONSO “JOEY” GARALDE was diagnosed with colorectal cancer last July 2016. He was already having frequent abdominal pains which made him quit his job at the radio station. November of the same year, he was brought to the hospital for severe pain and underwent an emergency surgery, by which a colostomy was done. He survived that tough one and carried on with a change of lifestyle, when he opted to go on an organic diet with no meat, despite the advice of going through chemotherapy. He would visit his doctor for routine check-up.

July 2017 he started to complain of abdominal pain and sometimes rectal pain. On September 9, he was again admitted to the hospital and after a series of tests, he was again scheduled for another surgery because of adhesion in the small intestines. Days after the surgery (Sept 22), his abdomen started to bloat, because fluid was filling it. On October 2, a drain pipe was inserted thru his right abdomen. What he lacks his albumin since his body has lost its proteins.

He is fighting this battle. The whole family is with him in this ordeal, but we cannot do this on our own. We need help!
