Campaign Story
Hi I'm Dani, 5yrs ago I was pregnant with my son Robert, I was 22 weeks when an ultrasound showed he had no heartbeat, I was devastated.
I had a lovely midwife by the name of Karen help us immensely. Her offical role was Pregnancy Loss Coordinator, she told us what to expect, supported us, laughed and cried with us. She was amazing.
6mths later I told her I was pregnant and again she organised for me to see a specialist and kept ringing to see if I was ok. Sadly I miscarried but Karen has inspired me to use what happened with us loosing our boys, to help others deal with the most heartbreaking thing a parent ever has to deal with.
I am a mum to 5 healthy children aged between 9-17yrs old, I'm a volunteer with St. John at our local hospital and I also volunteer with an organisation who provides emergency relief.
My dream would be to help others get through what we have had to and I need your support.
The course I would love to do is a bereavement doula course, it's run though stillbirthday.com
This course is going to be $350 AUD plus I need to get other equipment as well.
If you can help that would be amazing.
