Galilee Project: Bring Water to the Bustan
Bustan HaArbel is an area in the Lower Galilee surrounded by pure nature and wildlife with spectacular views of the cliff of Mount Arbel to the east, and of the northern towns of Safed and Meron, an area steeped in mysticism. Untouched for many hundreds of years, the land is now being cultivated by a dedicated group of volunteers. Plans include border construction, an olive grove, terraces with herb bushes, a pergola surrounded by trees of pomegranate, walnut, figs and many more wonderful fruits. The land will be open to all hikers, campers, families on nature outings and anyone who wants to harvest the amazing fruits of the Galilee or catch a glimpse of a herd of wild gazelles at sunrise. In order for the Bustan to flourish, there is now a huge effort to establish the infrastructure for a permanent water source. Until it is complete, water can only be brought in water tank trucks on a monthly basis. Please donate to help us bring water to the Bustan. Every drop counts!

Mazel tov Nava. What a wonderful way to celebrate. Be like the trees: grow strong, shade others, enjoy both the sun and rain that comes your way, dance in the breeze and when a tough wind crosses your path- flex a bit and bounce right back up. Sheryl,-Sue, Noah and Moe Newman
