Update posted by maria arabella eustaquiomy mom is in the hospital right now in national kidney transplant institute.she is doing okay she will have a small surgery called portacath.In medicine, a port (or portacath) is a small medical appliance that is installed beneath the skin. A catheter connects the port to a vein.They will use this for her chemotherapy
