Astounding doesn't begin to describe it. Thank you.

I'm utterly stunned by the response these past couple of days. Despite Facebook and Instagram being down for so long yesterday, on my birthday, donations continued to flow in, and we've now topped the 12,000€ mark, far in excess of my wildest expectations. Yet again, I'm going to increase my personal target so that this project gets ever closer to reality. Yesterday the trekking and fundraising team for the Camino de Santiago segment got together for the first time, for a meeting discussing things such as what it's all about, costs involved, logistics, training, dates etc. In a nutshell, the cost of doing the trek would cost around 600€ (which is separate from what you'd need to fundraise - you'd have to cover that cost yourself) and so far, it's planned for the first or second week of May 2022. If you're interested in getting more closely involved with that and joining us on the trek, join the Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/597592101264147

Thank you.
